Technical Information
Brief overview of the risk:
A remote code execution vulnerability in Windows MSHTML, which is Microsoft’s proprietary browser engine. This is used by legacy applications that are dependent on Internet Explorer. This vulnerability can be exploited when attackers trick victims to open specially crafted websites on any vulnerable machines. On successful exploitation this vulnerability could lead to arbitrary code execution in the context of the logged in user.
