Technical Information
The attacker may exploit a heap-based buffer overflow in Microsoft Office to execute code locally, using the Preview Pane as an attack vector. Although the attacker is remote, the exploit requires user interaction, typically through social engineering to open a crafted file, resulting in local arbitrary code execution.
