Technical Information
The authorized attacker with low-level privileges on a nested guest VM can exploit improper restriction of communication channels in Windows Hyper-V, and when a host administrator takes action, trigger a race condition that causes a scope change, allowing the attacker to escape the VM boundary and gain administrator privileges on the host.
