Brief overview of the risk:
This security update resolves vulnerabilities in Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, Skype for Business, Microsoft Lync, and Microsoft Silverlight. The most severe of these vulnerabilities could allow remote code execution if a user either visits a specially crafted website or opens a specially crafted document.

Detailed Information on the risk:

Elevation of privilege vulnerabilities exist in the way that the Windows Graphics Device Interface (GDI) handles objects in memory. An attacker who successfully exploited these vulnerabilities could run arbitrary code in kernel mode. An attacker could then install programs; view, change, or delete data; or create new accounts with full user rights.
